If you love anime and video games but never heard the word litRPG, this is the episode that puts you on. Jardo and D'Marcus break down the fastest growing genre in fiction from the ground up.
They cover what actually makes a book a litRPG, the history that traces it back to 1978, and the subgenre map from system apocalypse to monster POV. Then they get into the books that hooked them, Dungeon Crawler Carl, He Who Fights With Monsters, Chrysalis, and Life Reset, connect the dots through Solo Leveling and Re Zero for the anime crowd, and tell you exactly where a beginner should start. Plus a Put You On for Saucy Santana and the board game Evolution.
