🌈 Summary Cooper ran away from his home at the age of 12 and was found by Andrew, a kid of his own age, who immediately brought him home to his parents the same day. Years later, they are best friends. Cooper’s household is facing the same issues that it faced years earlier, and Andrew, much more privileged than Cooper, often promises that he will grow up to become a cop just so that he can save Cooper from his abusive family. Soon, Cooper realizes that he’s in love with Andrew–but he also comes to another realization: he cannot inform Andrew of the same in fear that he may lose him. Instead, he decides to seek a “safe place” in someone else, and it turns out to be a manipulative college student, Tate.
