Wednesday Breakfast: ALIUS on Trigger Point and Eurovision dreams

Melbourne singer, songwriter and producer ALIUS (aka Sebastian Ivanov) joins Brett on JOY Breakfast to chat about his latest single Trigger Point and the journey that’s taken him from appearing on The Voice alongside his twin sister to building a solo career with millions of streams.

ALIUS opens up about finding his identity as an openly queer artist, the realities behind success in the music industry, and why Sweden has played such a major role in shaping his sound. He also reveals his Eurovision ambitions, including being put forward for Sweden’s Melodifestivalen, and shares what’s next — from new music and another trip to Sweden to K-pop songwriting sessions in Seoul.
