This week we are discussing Enyo, the embodiment of Warfare, as a manifestation of aromantic identity from the Greek Pantheon.
Across numerous conflicts, Enyo never actually is shown to have any particular loyalty to any faction. During the Trojan War, Enyo goes out ahead of the Greek armies with Athena, then later she rallies the Trojans with Ares. Enyo delights in conflict and warfare in all its aspects. She is drawn not to causes or heroes, rather to the most adroit warriors and displays of martial prowess.
Enyo does not feel strong connections to any faction.
The same is true with her consorts.
Enyo is known to be closely related to Ares, in fact they have a son together named Enyalios, the embodiment of warfare. But there is no romantic connection between the two. Enyo is also closely connected to Eris, the embodiment of Discord. These two Goddesses are closely related, working together more closely than with any other Gods or Goddesses.
Though Enyo has sexual relationships, she does not form romantic connections with either.
So when we consider the surviving materials about Enyo, she becomes an aromantic Goddess.
