It’s an all-Australian second hour today, with in-studio guest Queenie and new songs by Townsville’s Comfort Royale, Adelaide’s Ryan Martin John and Melbourne’s Kasinda. Queer singer-songwriter and delightful human Queenie chats to Katie about the origins of the name ‘Queenie’, her origins in the music scene, the supportive Narrm music community, her connection with Henry Wagons, her beautiful new album Pleasance, and her upcoming tour. Here is the playlist:
- Port Royale – Comfort Royale
- Happy – Ryan Martin John
- Not Divine – Queenie
- Salt (live in the studio) – Queenie
- Alone With You – Queenie & Henry Wagons
- This Life – Kasinda
- Pearl Necklaces – Queenie
