Kris talks about Women's Week, which she's at right now! (Yes, today, not when they recorded.) If you're there and you see Kris, tell her you listen to the podcast!
Also, Kris's new addiction is Pokemon Go and wants you to be her friend so she can reap the benefits of free gifts and upgrades. All of this Kris puts under 'Doing Worthless Things'. Anything to not write!
Official Recommendations
From Kris: I Wish You All the Best (2024)
Kris's official recommendation this week is I Wish You All the Best, a coming-of-age/coming out story based on the book of the same name. In it, a high school student is cast out of his house for coming out and has to embark on his own journey of self-discovery. Kris thought this was a beautiful movie with some really good messages in it.
From Tara: Touch of Class by Rachel Spangler
Tara's official recommendation this week is the third book in the In Sessions romances, Touch of Class by Rachel Spangler. This has all of Tara's favourite things. It's enemies to lovers with former high school rivals, it's a workplace romance, it's got cuddling! Tara doesn't think you need to read the previous entries to like this one, but recommends the whole series. Check it out!
