Says the gambler (QR 142)

27 Oct 202644 min

Kris delivers a post-Women's Week debrief. She had a great time. It's nice to meet up with your tribe, isn't it? Kris doesn't have just one tribe, though. She's also found her Pokemon Go tribe!

Tara reports that she's relieved to still remain in Canada and is looking forward to getting her flu and Covid shots.

Official Recommendations

From Kris: Too Forward by Krystina Rivers

Kris's official recommendation this week is Too Forward by Krystina Rivers, a book about rediscovering your worth after thinking your best days are behind you. Jane Gray was doing well as a collegiate athlete until an injury seemed to end her career. Now in her thirties, her former coach has given her an opportunity to attend training camp for the WNBA and despite having trouble believing in herself, she goes. Kris really loved the character arc of this book and thought the sex was pretty great too!

From Tara: Fighting for Control by J.J. Arias (Dominion Book 2)

Tara's official recommendation this week is Fighting for Control by J.J. Arias, a standalone romance from her Dominion series. High-powered lawyer Carmen and rising talent agent Lola have been feuding, and they're forced to resolve their issues in mandatory anger management classes. Guess what happens next?
