It was revolutionary, messy, controversial, and incredibly important to queer representation. I truly want to thank Ilene Chaiken for creating a world filled with beautiful, complicated, deeply flawed characters who gave so many of us a chance to see ourselves on screen — even when they didn’t always get it right.
