Nevena and Paul are joined live in the studio by Rachel Payne MLC — Legalise Cannabis Victoria; Matthew Kirwan — Greens;  Michael Galea MLC — Labor,

This is a large, diverse upper-house region encompassing 11 lower-house districts, including Dandenong, Frankston, Cranbourne, Berwick, Rowville and the Narre Warren seats. It combines established suburbs, disadvantaged communities and rapidly growing areas. Payne and Galea are incumbents; Kirwan is seeking to enter Parliament.

Rachel Payne MLC — Legalise Cannabis Victoria
Elected in 2022. Public-policy background; campaigns on cannabis reform, medicinal cannabis driving rules, social justice and accountability. An outspoken LGBTIQ+ advocate.

Matthew Kirwan — Greens
Lead regional candidate; former Greater Dandenong councillor, policy professional and Noble Park resident. Priorities include housing, public services, transport, gambling harm and protecting the green wedge.

Michael Galea MLC — Labor

Elected in 2022; chairs the Council’s Environment and Planning Committee. Parliamentary co-chair of the government’s LGBTIQA+ Taskforce working groups.
