Producer Anton Berezin, director Therèsa Borg and actor Julian Weeks are among the creative forces behind the world premiere of The Ballad of Dan O’Malley, a gripping new Australian play staged at Theatre Works’ Explosives Factory in St Kilda. Running from 12 to 22 August, the production dives into the true‑to‑life football scandal that shook the AFL, with Weeks appearing in a strong ensemble cast. Audiences can experience this premiere season at the Explosives Factory, rear 67 Inkerman Street, during its ten‑day run.
