Colin Carman, Ph.D. is the author of The Radical Ecology of the Shelleys: Eros and Environment (Routledge, 2019). As a Contributing Writer at The G&LR, he has interviewed authors Jennifer Finney Boylan and Amy Bloom and musician Rufus Wainwright. Dr. Carman has taught at Colorado Mesa University and Colby College. He has been a residential fellow at the Huntington Library in California and the Jane Austen Research Center in England. His current book project is tentatively titled and A Friend of Mine: Bob Dylan and Allen Ginsberg.
We talk about his connection with The Gay and Lesbian Review, how he came to write his piece on the show, and how the queer influence continues to resonate throughout the entire production!
